The Nice Jazz festival kicks off again this year, for the last time in the historic Roman site of Cimiez, and includes Jazz luminaries such as Al Jarreau, Herbie Hancock, and Ornette Coleman.

The jazz festival sounds great. On the strength of the line-up and dates we saw, we booked flights from Australia and accomomodation for the period from the 17th onwards. The dates have now been published as being 8-12th July and it's now too late to change our arrangements.
The dates should be firmly set and advertised further in advance to allow long haul visitors to make arrangements.
