After leaving the prestigious Carlton Hotel on the back of a camel whilst dressed in full “Dictator” costume, with a quick stop for coffee on the Croisette, he set off on a shambolic shopping trip surrounded by the media starting with Ralph Lauren (with camel in tow, naturally). After buying a rather fetching scarf for his camel, he then went on to thank the UN for bravely refusing to do anything in Syria, calling them an inspiration for despotic dictators everywhere.
